Description:

This well-restored apartment is on the third floor of a Venetian palace, not far from the famous church "Chiesa della Salute". The apartment is very bright and has both air conditioning and independent heating.

The kitchen has a sink, refrigerator with freezer, gas stovetop, microwave and a table with four chairs. In the living room you find two armchairs, a sofa which conerts to a large single bed, and a writing desk with chair. The bedroom is furnished in antique style and is composed by two chests of drawers mirrors, a queen size bed, a bedside table with a lamp, two small armchairs and a small tapestry on the wall behind the bed. The bathroom has sink, toilet, stall and a washing machine with drying function.

Location Information:

Dorsoduro district is an area rich in history and in the tradition of Venice. There are many museums right there: the Peggy Guggenheim, the Accademia, and the new Punta della Dogana. The Zattere is the long promenade facing the Giudeca Canal where there are many cafes and restaurants with tables set out to enjoy the view. This neighborhood tends to be more local than some others-- a huge advantage in popular Venice. Yet the Accademia bridge gives one easy access to a quick walk to the Piazza San Marco. Client Comments:

"The apartment was really terrific. The AC worked perfectly--and we used it on the hot days--and the place was clean, comfortable and well laid out. Best of all, the location ws ideal, quiet and private, yet only minutes from museums, the Accademia bridge, the supermarket, the Zattere promenade, charming shops and galleries and many good restaurants."

"Quiet-which we really appreciated. Roomy-good light and beautiful area."
