Vence is a terrific town in the lush mountain range that rises from the Mediterrean along the Riviera. It is a characteristic French village with an open plaza shaded by plane trees and a selection of cafes with outdoor tables. The village is well-known for the chapel that Matisse designed outside the city walls. Nearby is the Maeght Fondation, the first modern art gallery outside Paris and the beautiful village of St. Paul de Vence where Picasso, Biot and other artists gathered. In addition it is well located to tour all the charming villages nearby to go to the seaside and even to enjoy hiking in the nearby trails.

This pleasant apartment is just a few kilometers outside the village and is the garden level of the owner's property. It has excellent privacy with its own separate driveway and entrance. It is all newly built, well maintained, bright, clean and comfortable. This is a great accommodation for a small family or for one or two couples. There is a broad terrace with plenty of room to enjoy the sun and a lovely view. Entry is up a few exterior stairs to the main living space. This room has comfortable seating, an open kitchen, table for 4 and double glass doors to the view. The kitchen area is efficient with 4 burner gas stove top, countertop oven, small refigerator and a good selection of dishes, pans and even basic food supplies. The sofa is convertible and can sleep one extra person if required.

There is a bedroom on either side of this main room. Past the kitchen is the queen bedroom with ensuite bathtub, shower over, sink and toilet. On the other side of the living room is the twin bedroom with ensuite, shower, sink and toilet. This small, but pleasant house is a great value and a terrific choice for a small party.
