Description:

This apartment is located in the heart of the historic center, right across from the Castel Sant’Angelo, which can be seen from the living-room. It is also across the street from the Vatican and Saint Peter’s Basilica and just a few minutes walking distance from Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza Farnese and Campo de’ Fiori. The Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps are about 15 minutes walking distance.

In the bustling of daily life in the historic center, this apartment is an oasis of silence and beauty. Not only is it quiet, but it is also welcoming and relaxing due to the elegant palette of its furnishings.

The apartment is located on the third floor of a wonderfully restored 16th century building. As with most antique palazzos in the historic center, this building has no elevator.

The two words that sum up the style of this apartment are distinction and sophistication. It is quite obvious from the quality and the taste of the furnishings that everything is the result of the careful eye of a talented architect: its owner. The alternation of the whites, greys and beige, echoed in the assortment of antique pieces from the traditional Via dei Coronari with very contemporary finishings, render this apartment quite a rare jewel for nowadays’ historic center. Its wood beamed ceiling and cotto floors complete its charm and warmth.

In the living-room, bathed by the light of three tall windows with a view over Castel Sant’Angelo and tiny Via Paola, there are two armchairs, a sofa and an olive wood desk. There are bookshelves as well as different shelves adorned with porcelain vases. In an angle of the living-room, a few steps guide you to a reading area that overlooks the room. There are also various plants, well taken care of by the owner.

The bedroom is charming. It has a hand engraved, custom-made queen size bed frame, painted in a French pigment, neither glossy nor opaque, carefully chosen by the owner for a warm effect. There is also a wardrobe, two chairs and a small wooden desk, with an ever-green plant watching over a good night’s sleep.

The kitchenette is decorated in French country style. It is fully equipped with all necessary cooking supplies and has a wooden dining table for four. From the kitchen you can access the delightful interior patio, filled with flowers, which once again gives you the true sense of an oasis hosted by this graceful apartment.

There is a pretty bathroom with bathtub, hand-held shower, sink and toilet.
