Description:This apartment is in the historic center, just a few blocks from the Piazza Navona one of the most beautifully baroque sites in Rome. This pedestrian-only plaza is a wonderful nearby place to enjoy a glass of wine or a meal while observing the breaktaking archecture. The apartment is in a splendid restored 14th century building which has an open courtyard with a hanging antique lantern surrounded by period style marble columns. Simply entering the courtyard will make you feel you have crossed into another time and place.This apartment is on the 3rd floor (no elevator). The apartment has hard wood floors and exposed beams with white walls making a warm and bright ambiance. It is tastefully furnished by the Italian owner with fine artwork and select antiques. The livingroom is very pretty and comfortable with two white sofas and an olive wood chest of drawers. A built-in library on a mezzanine overlooks the living-room. It's a pretty touch. There is a well-equipped kitchenette and a wooden dining table. The bedroom has a queen bed, an armchair, wardrobe and a small wooden secretary. The room has a tall window overlooking an internal open courtyard which makes it very quiet and peaceful room.There is a full bathroom with a bathtub and hand-held shower, sink and toilet.
