This restored farmhouse is wonderful. It's located on a large estate in quiet countryside between St. Rémy and Avignon. The nearby village of Chateaurenard has a well known castle.

The mas has been restored to provide hotel quality and comfort with Provençal charm. There are fine fabrics and nice artwork throughout. The well-equipped kitchen with adjacent dining room is white with blue accents, exposed beams and antique floor tiles. The living room has high ceilings, a massive stone fireplace and lots of comfortable seating. Nearly the entire wall opening to the garden is glass. It is a pretty ambiance. French doors open to the gravel patio with its traditional plane tree and large garden beyond. There is a guest bathroom with sink and toilet. On the ground floor is a large master suite with queen bed, entry hall, (with single bed) dressing area, French doors to the terrace and large bathroom with bathtub, separate shower, sink and toilet.

The stairs to the upstairs are the original rough stone. Here, there is another master suiete with a very large bedroom with queen bed, rattan wall-to-wall carpeting and ensuite bathroom with bathtub, shower, sink and toilet. A third bedroom has a queen bed with adjacent bathroom with bathtub, stall shower and sink. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds with ensuite bathroom with shower and sink. There is a separate toilet.

*For an extra charge, there is additional accommodation for 2 more totalling 11 for the property. (The main house sleeps 9.) On the other side of the swimming pool is a newly renovated small house. This charming maisonnette has high ceilings, exposed beams and French doors on three sides that open onto two terraces and a very large field. It has an open kitchen with living room/dining room and fireplace and is decorated with antiques, fine fabrics and pretty artwork. The bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a clawfoot bathtub, stall shower, sink and toilet. It is only rented along with the main house at a reduced rate.
