This lovely accommodation is set in beautiful countryside with pretty views. Yet is is very close to two very characteristic villages. Paradou is the location for the well known Bistro de Paradou with its superb regional cuisine. Maussane is valued for its olive oil, still produced by hand in the traditional manner. Maussane has an excellent selection of food stores and restaurants and even an outdoor market. Yet both villages are small and feel very local. From here you are very well situated to tour the region with Les Baux, Arles and St. Rémy all a short drive away. In fact, the list of things to see and do within a 15 minutes drive is impressive. In summer, French-style bullfights and the accompanying local activities take place in many surrounding villages. This is a wonderful location

This farmhouse was originally a barn owned by the owner's father who was a shepherd. And the owner still has a flock of sheep which is occasionally seen grazing in the distance! The barn has now been converted with great taste with this really lovely apartment. It is at the end of the building with doors opening to the front and back terrace. It has lovely views. It is decorated simply but in great taste. The apartment has an open feeling as the living room has glass doors, which open on a shaded terrace. The living room/dining room has comfortable seating, a pretty wooden dining table and a massive stone fireplace. There are two bedrooms, one on either side of the kitchen--a typical farmhouse floorplan: one with a queen bed, one with three single beds. The small blue and white bathroom is off the living room and has a stall shower, sink and separate toilet with sink. The kitchen has a door that opens onto the other terrace, which is open to the sun. It, too, is brand new, well equipped and decorated in pale grey and and yellow. Some low archways between rooms.


The owners live at the other end of the structure, but respect the client's privacy and can be helpful if needed.
