Description:The village of Cabrières is beautifully located to tour the Luberon area and all of Provence. It is just below the famous perched village of Gordes, has a lovely view of the Luberon mountain range to the south, but is free from tourists. This is a pleasant old village with a nice selection of shops including a locally renown bakery. The house was just totally renovated and is pristine and extremely attractive. It's on the edge of the village and is extremely quiet and surrounded by a wall. It is a nice blend of Provencal and contemporary styles. The kitchen, dining room and living room all open onto the enclosed courtyard with pool. As the owner's son owns the local nursery, the courtyard is landscaped very nicely. The kitchen is well equipped. The living room has a high ceiling and is L-shaped with lots of comfortable seating. There is a bathroom with shower stall, sink and toilet off the front hall. Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double bedroom and a bedroom with two twin beds which can be made as one large, king bed. The bathroom has bathtub, shower on the wall, sink and toilet. The open mezzanine down the hall has two twin beds and a curtain to offer visual privacy from the living room below. The pool and terrace area are extremely nice. Location Information:In Cabrières d'Avignon, food shops, restaurants. Gordes 5km. Cavaillon 14km, all facilities.Client Comments:Fabulous! Loved the location in the village. Gorgeous pool.
