A short walk takes you to the Champs du Mars and the Eiffel tower, the most famous tourist location in Paris. Yet, this apartment is located in a charming neighborhood that makes you feel like you are living in France. The Blvd. de Grenelle and its outdoor market is just a block away. At the corner is the Rue de Lourmet, a great food-shopping street with speciality stores selling fruit, cheese, fish, chocolate, and flowers as well as a terrific cafe with a real welcoming, local feeling. In the other direction is the Rue du Commerce, a well-known high-end shopping street that extends for many blocks. Here there are international stores such as H&M and Zara, and typically Parisian cafes and restaurants. This is a great location.

The apartment is located in a 19th century building and is in a back building off a pleasant courtyard making this a very quiet location. The studio, although small, is extremely well-designed, and was recently renovated in an attractive modern style. It offers a bright and comfortable environment. The main floor has a sofa that can open to a comfortable double bed, if desired. The kitchen area is all new and attractive with a two-burner stove top, microwave oven, small refrigerator and all you'd need for simple meals. The bathroom has a shower stall, sink and toilet.

Stairs lead up to the loft and an additional 3 sq. meters, which has a glass wall for a feeling of openness. A queen bed is set on a tatami mat. This mattress can be separated in two. There is hanging on the side wall. Ceiling height here is just about 5'2". The owner who lives nearby has organized the apartment to provide a comfortable pied à terre so that even your suitcases can be stored in a special closet on the landing of the stairway, making sure the studio remains uncluttered and comfortable during your stay. This is a pretty accommodation and an excellent value for one to two persons.
