Located in the same lovely building as our other rentals at Palais Royal, this beautiful apartment couldn't have a better location. It is in the heart of central Paris, just a short walk to the world famous Louvre. Despite this location, it is extremely quiet. Rue Montpensier is a narrow street with antiques shops, restaurants and even a little grocery. It has very little car traffic as it isn't a through street. The back of the apartment faces the Palais Royal Gardens, a really beautiful and quiet view.

This apartment is on the 4th floor reached by elevator and a half flight of stairs. It has been totally renovated to offer a very high degree of comfort and elegance. Such spacious rental apartments are rare in Paris. Past an entryway is the excellent kitchen which has white cabinets, sea green tiles and polished dark wood counters. It is very well equipped. There is an antique wood dining table and chairs for 8. Past this is the living room with lilac walls and white trim. It has high ceilings, herring bone wood floors, fireplace with mirror over and heavy drapes framing two windows which down on the Palais Royal gardens. There are 2 beautiful lilac sofas both of which open to queen beds. There are additional chairs and good lighting. The effect is of Paris in the 1930s. Very lovely. A hallway leads to two bedroom suites each with king beds, dressing rooms and ensuite bathrooms with bathtub, shower over, sink and toilet. There are elegant bath fixtures, antique dressers and fine linens. This is a wonderful apartment.
