The countryside outside St. Cyprien is in the heart of the Dordogne with its green hills and windy rivers. The charming hamlet of Le Colombier is located in beautiful countryside just minutes from the market town of St. Cyprien. This attractive manor house has been owned by the same family since the 16th century. It has recently been completely renovated and redecorated to a high standard. The owners have taken a great deal of care in retaining the warm atmosphere of its gracious past by retaining the original beams and woodwork throughout. They've furnished it with pretty antiques and cheery fabrics. It is tastefully done.

The kitchen is separated from the large dining room by a bar and both the sitting and the dining room have working fireplaces. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor both of which have ensuite shower rooms. Off the kitchen there is a laundry room and some steepish stairs leading down to the very spacious summer kitchen which leads out to the terrace and pool area. Up a flight are two bedrooms. One is a large bedroom with queen bed and ensuite shower, sink and toilet. The other is a twin bedroom with 2 beds and ensuite bathroom with small bathtub, sink and toilet. Stairs lead to the second floor and 2 more bedrooms: a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bathtub, shower over, sink and toilet; and a bedroom with one slightly smaller than double bed with ensuite shower, sink and toilet.

The grounds are pretty with lots of nice places to sit and enjoy a meal outside.
