This part of Brittany is filled with wonderful things to see and do. Located on the north eastern edge of this region, it has a strong bond with the sea. The history of the area includes the famous armateurs or ship builders who in early times set sail for exotic lands. So even now the cuisine includes use of exotic spices like curry and cumin making for a delicious and distinct style-- and also resulting in many fine restaurants. The beautiful town of St. Malo is nearby with its wide beaches. Le Mont St. Michel is also close by. One can take a day trip to Normandy to explore Bayeux with its famous tapestries and the D-Day beaches. It's an ideal spot for those who like outdoor activities for one can fish and sail. Add to it enjoy that the river and seaside beaches and this is an ideal location.

This charming village house is tucked behind the 13th century church in St. Suliac. It is in the heart of the village with its own private enclosed garden. The owner used to run the local crêperie and can advise at the best places to visit and eat. It has been fully renovated and yet still retains a "period" feeling.

Ground floor has a comfortable living room/dining room with an open fireplace and a newly renovated, well-equipped kitchen. A door leads to the very lovely patio and large garden. A half flight up there is a bedroom with double bed and ensuite shower, sink and toilet. On the second floor is another double bedroom, a twin bedroom best for children and a bathroom with bathtub, sink and separate toilet. On the top or third floor is another double bedroom, a bedroom with 3 single beds and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Although the area has much to enjoy, one could be quite content just enjoying the charms of the village and the house, itself.

The town of St. Suliac is wonderfully off the beaten track but close by many tourist detinations people go to Brittany to see.
